The Challenge
The platform had grown organically on a single-server architecture that was never designed for its current scale. During peak morning hours, when clinics opened, the system would slow down or go down entirely, disrupting scheduling, billing, and record access across the network. Beyond performance, the infrastructure didn't meet HIPAA requirements for encryption, access controls, audit logging, or disaster recovery. They were operating on borrowed time from a compliance standpoint.
Our Approach

- 5Built a CI/CD pipeline so releases could go out the same day, with rollback if needed.
- 6Addressed HIPAA technical safeguards including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, audit logging, and documented incident response.
